On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of participating in Kravet’s panel discussion on social media and design. It was such a great experience! Everyone from Kravet was fabulous and we had a fantastic audience who asked plenty of insightful questions. It was so wonderful to meet and network with other design and lifestyle professionals and discuss the importance of social media in the design and style industries. Social media is truly a revolution! I have had many exciting things happen and have established friendships as a result of blogging, Facebook, and Twitter. It’s time to get on board with social networking, my friends!

I am a designer (architecture and interior design)that has just joined the world of social media. I started a blog, The Luxurious Life, in April. I am new to the world of blogs and blogging and in the last month have found so much inspiration from the blogs I am discovering (and hope I am giving a little back too!!) I am trying to learn more about promoting my business in this manner, so far all trial and error!! Please post highlights from the panel, would love any advice I can get!! Thanks!!

Hey Paloma, I did the panel with Beth in Dallas, and I'm sure we had a similar experience. Kravet is such a first rate company, and the fact that they are bringing social media to the designer is a great step in the right direction for our industry. Exciting things are on the horizon. Love your blog!
