Domino is back!!

domino_convex {Tori Mellott’s Apartment}

I am elated to share the news that our beloved Domino Magazine is back! Though it won’t be in the way we may have all hoped, I just heard through ShelterPop that Brides.com has acquired all of Domino’s archives and they will all be available online! What do you think? Is it better to have Domino back in some capacity or should they have just let it rest?

oh i LOVE LOVE DOMINO! It will be great to at least access the archives; however, I wish they would just bring back the actual mag. :(

That's not the grand revival I was envisioning. It's hard to even find on brides.com. Such a lack of presence for an inspiring publication. Will probably just stick to Lonny mag and NY Time's The Moment contributor, Rita Konig - for my Domino dose :)

Perfect for those (like me) who have apparently been living under a rock for the last few years...and not as familiar as the rest of blogland with Domino as they'd like to (or should) be:).

ohhh i dunno about this .. if it's just the OLD stuff - what's the sensE? - they already put out a book of all the "best" stuff - and u can pretty much google all the old stuff - sure there are prob some treasures i missed - but if it's NOT gonna be all new stuff, then i dunno - let Lonny have it's shot!!!

It's a great resource, I hated selling my collection. On the whole it's time to move forward though, Lonny is the wave of the future!!

That's awesome! I'd love to see the archives...

If it were all new content, I'd be giddy but even then would prefer a nice, shiny copy straight out of my mailbox. I sorely miss that magazine!

I wish it was back in it's true original form, but at least we'll have the archives.

Thrilled- I'll take what I can get and can only hope it eventually leads to new content.

Smart move.. they can judge by the traffic as to whether or not a new venture is worth the risk. Thanks for sharing the news!

I got so excited!!! Then I saw that only old issues were going to be online. Doesn't help me much since I have saved EVERY issue ever printed.

If it's on Brides.com, I couldn't find it!

Oh, I got really excited for a minute! Well, I guess this is still good news--maybe they'll see by the number of hits they get that they need to revive it.

I think it's great...to have Domino back in this capacity...So, I'm wondering...does this mean we will have access to all Domino archives? But, as most know, domino images (at least some) are easily accessible on most search engines.

I'll take it! I love flipping through the pages of actual magazines but also enjoy browsing the images online. They are also easier to save on your computer that way. ...And I love "be nice, anonymous!" ha!

I'm very happy about this announcement. I haven't seen any Domino issue ever,and since it's so popular through blogland I'm excited to have the opportunity to check it out.
