Talented, Atlanta-based interior designer, Melanie Turner’s work has been featured in many magazines including Veranda and Atlanta Lifestyles and Homes and has appeared on countless blogs. The other day, I stumbled across Turner Davis Interiors’ Facebook page and fell head over heels for this home designed by Melanie. I was impressed by the way Melanie had carried the same palette throughout the home with a few variations and pops of Kelly Green in nearly each room of the house.
{Each space in the room looks at once incredibly cozy and comfortable yet polished and chic, which is not the easiest feat to pull off. It takes real skill to achieve a look that is just as inviting as it is elegant. This living room pulls it off through ample, comfortable seating, lots of textures and bold patterns from the Imperial Trellis drapes and Chenonceau-covered wing chairs. The series of mirrors and Studio Adjustable Floor Lamps by Thomas O’Brien for Visual Comfort & Co. add a dose of modern glamour.
{Bold Patterns Comingle with Vibrant Textures}
{I love this den! It looks so inviting and the palette is so crisp. I love that Melanie opted for these versatile Visual Comfort floor lamps as well!}
{Chic Hardware}
{I love the relaxed glamour of this home.}
{Pretty Vignette with a Hickory Chair Console}
{The dining room is the only space that seems to fully deviate from the color palette of chocolate and Kelly Green.}
{I believe this room may be used as a workspace. How fun are the chairs and Kelly Green Parsons desks?}
{Painted Green Staircase Runner}
Do you like the idea of carrying out a color palette throughout most of the rooms in your home?

while this home is really, really beautiful, i prefer a little more range. having some consistency to loosely tie the rooms together is always a good idea, but i don't think i could contain myself to such a tight palette throughout...truly is gorgeous, though.
Love the green touches! Kelly green is def one of my favorite colors to decorate with.

I am LOVING kelly green right now. I am working on a kitchen design right now for my sister and we're using kelly green in her kitchen... this was perfect inspiration! Thanks for sharing!

Kelly green is always a favorite! Very pretty post.
Totally love the green- not sure I would want the same color throughout my home. I'm too indecisive to settle on one!
Belle initiative...
gros bisous
I love the combination of white and kelly green!
given that we have such a rainy day today, I am even inspired to pull out a pair of kelly green hunter rain boots.
That painted stair case is so innovative. Green seems to be so popular right now, I am seeing it everywhere.

I have a big obsession with kelly green right now and am planning to work it into my master bedroom redo. Thanks for the inspiration!
beautiful! I love mixing green & gray and those mirrors above the sofa- oh my!!
This is really great. I would have thought that the grasscloth wallpaper and jute/sisal rug in the first image would have been way too much but I actually really love the look. She does an unbelievably amazing job mixing textures and pattern.
Is anyone aware what the charcoal/white fabric is that was used for the drapes? I love that!
Love Kelly green - Happy New Year Paloma!

I've never seen green look so chic!

love all the pops of green! my favorite!! and the bold patterns add so much excitment!!
When I lived in a small-ish apartment I had a self imposed rule that everything I owned had to work in every space in the apartment so the chair from the bedroom could be pulled into the living room etc. Now I think this house is lovely, and I can't believe I'm saying this as Kelley Green is my favorite color, the matchyness might be a little much. But the stairs are kinda perfect!
Loving this pop of kelly! Also loving the chic gold touches. Wouldn't mind at all waking up to this on a daily basis.

Thanks for all the nice comments! What made this job extra special is that it was a blending of two wonderful families with six kids total and a limited budget. The drapes in the Living Room and Den are from Schumacher. The Dining Room is a lavender color palette. Thanks for posting our work.

I really enjoyed this post. The Studio Adjustable Floor Lamps are to die! I also thought the featured workspace would be such a bright and happy place be both productive and creative. Overall, I prefer a consistent color palette throughout my own home, but admire other homes where each room sort has a personality all its own.
I'm a little late to this party, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the hardware on the white piece of furniture (the brass ring pull). Any chance we could kindly ask where to find that? Thanks!!
