Palm Beach Style: Interiors

<a href="/galleryimage/palm-beach-living-room">Palm Beach Living Room</a>

{Celerie Kemble}

Tomorrow, I will be heading to Palm Beach for a special event. While it will be a very quick trip (just two days) and I’ll have a pretty strict schedule, I’m hoping to be able to get a little taste of Palm Beach style. While I’ve never been to Palm Beach before, I am already feeling inspired by pretty coral and turquoise hues, vintage furniture and a touch of glamour. What comes to mind when you think of this sunny city?

Whoa, Paloma!

I know this is not Hawaii, but seeing this picture makes me want to say "Aloha to the world!" :-)

Love the 2nd picture... it's "screaming" happiness!

Have a wonderful day!

You are in for a special treat! Palm Beach is a very unique, gorgeous eye candy of a gem...have been several times and just walking along Worth Avenue alone is worth the trip. Then you throw in tons of wonderful restaurants, fun people watching, gorgeous architecture oogling and needless to say....its a place that you will want to return to again and again...safe travels!!

Having visited Palm Beach since the age of two, and now living in Florida I will tell you that Palm Beach is unique. The architecture of Addison Mizner set the tone for the rest of the town. With the vias of Worth Avenue; the manicured landscaping and the beautiful houses Palm Beach is good for the soul.

If you get the chance drive from the north end of Palm Beach to the estate section. Also, the shops on Antique Row in West Palm Beach on Dixie Highway offer a glimpse at vintage Palm Beach when the town was more low key. Enjoy your trip.

My fiance grew up in Palm Beach, and when we lived in Florida, we were there every weekend- you will fall in love with its charm. When you have a free hour, just take a drive around the island and take it all in.. when you're done. Go to Worth Avenue and find "via Mizner" its where Addison Mizner's home was, and in his old courtyard is the most amazing little pizza place called Pizza Al Fresco. Its a wonderful way to end the day with a glass of wine, amazing pizza [or the pasta gorgonzola is my favorite] and some gelato! Have fun!

Nothing says Palm Beach style to me quite like Lilly Pulitzer. As a former Lilly shopgirl she'll always hold a special place in my heart. The brand is currently enjoying it's moment in the sun which is exciting to see their classic with a twist updated.

On a side note, PBI has got to be one of the most glamorous airports in the country! Happy people watching!

I live in central Florida, so you will be right in my backyard. This definitely says Florida beach style.I would love to dine in the outdoor dining setting. Hope you enjoy, too bad you can't stay longer!

I have relatives that live in Palm Beach and love it there! I can't help but think Lilly Pulitzer and bright colors whenever the place comes to mind. Elle Decor put a Palm Beach guide together in its Dec/Jan issue, and I wrote about my visit there this Dec here:

This is my hometown! Must go to Dixie Highway. The homes on Palm Beach are very secluded, gated, hedged...I hope you get some exclusive tours and share them on High Gloss!
