From Gossip Girl to Cover Girl

The beautiful Blake Lively, who plays Gossip Girl's Serena Van Der Wudsen graces the cover of the February issue of Vogue. Something tells me Blair would be a little jealous. Vogue went behind the scenes on the set of the show with an exclusive video interview with Blake.

What did you think of last night's episode? Do you think Serena cares too much about Blair's feelings? What did you think of the alliance between Chuck and Lily? What will happen with Dan and the new teacher?

I loved the pic with the Yellow wallpaper..and I don't think she ever really wanted Yale. I think Brown is a better fit.

There is nothing believable about that show and as a mother of 2 daughters I should disaprove of it but I'm hooked. Me and my 18 yo daughter love to watch it. Seriously do any highschool seniors really want to go to the Opera ball! Lily was starting to "show" a little last night. They found lots of creative ways to camouflage her pregnancy.

It was never really clear whether Serena was turning down Yale because she truly thought it was not the school for her, or if she was doing it to save her friendship. I think that Brown is a better fit for her anyway, don't you? But...how will GG have another season if everyone is going to Yale?

I think it is typical of a teenager to make life changing decisions, though, based upon reasons that will no longer be relevant even a few months after the decision was made...

I think about how I almost didn't name my daughter after my terminally ill mother because two of my acquaintances from my dinner club had selected the same name for their daughters...my wise husband said to do what I wanted to do, and not be influenced by things that were 'of the moment'. Now I no longer even see these women, and I am grateful every day that I named my daughter for her grandmother (who died when my daughter was 6 months old).

That's why I like this show so much - I have the perspective of an adult, but am not too old to remember what it was like to be a teen/20 something.

Doesn't she look beautiful on the cover?

Is it me or has Serena turned into one of the most unwatchable characters on the show? I feel like she is always pouting or speaking like she is confused and about to cry. And the off and on with her and Dan is getting O-L-D. Hopefully Rachel will spice things up for that story line!

I don't watch the show myself, but I LOVE Blake Lively in general---her style is so fresh and unique but approachable, and she always has such a great, open smile on her face. She seems like a truly lovely girl!

Oh! I can't "read" your post thoroughly since I haven't seen the latest episode (saved on TiVo!). But Blake looks so lovely in those photos. I'm not a fan of her "bohemian" look on the show. So it's nice to see her hair smoothed out and a bit of glamour brought to her look. She a stunner!
