This week’s “Fabulous Room” is a beautiful, tailored office designed by Anne Hepfer and featured in the December issue of Canadian House & Home. I was immediately drawn in by the mix of classic shapes and bold accents—a David Hicks rug, moss green velvet sofa as an homage to Givenchy, an oversized wing chair, and a stunning coffee table elevate the room completely. The space is polished, sophisticated, and glamorous. I also love the Greek key detail on the drapes and the gilded pineapple table lamps with high-gloss black shades. I also love when designers mix things up and layer in various styles of furniture—notice the end tables. Hepfer used a white lacquered Parsons-style end table with a pair of gilded nesting tables.
{Beautiful Details include a Custom-Made Lacquered Desk, and Fabulous Vase, and an Interesting 24-karat Gold-Plated Toad Skeleton by Tony Duquette}
Does this room speak to your aesthetic? Which element in the space is your favorite?
P.S. If you’re in Houston, don’t forget about the Visual Comfort & Co. Designer Lighting Sample Sale tomorrow! Be sure to stop by for killer deals on designer lighting by Thomas O’Brien, Alexa Hampton, Barbara Barry, Suzanne Kasler, and more!
Have a great weekend!
