{The living room features a classic combination of chocolate brown and Hermes orange.}
These gorgeous rooms by Martensen-Jones Interiors evoke the most wonderful images of summer for me. Each room is ultra-chic, yet maintains an element of relaxed elegance, quintessential to the warmer months. Most of these lovely rooms feature light, neutral palettes, natural textures like seagrass, and a mix of traditional and more eclectic elements. Headed by Lisa Martensen and Jan Jones, the firm describes its design aesthetic as “classic, contemporary, global, and comfortable which often results in pairing a pedigreed antique with an economical piece. The final product can result in rooms that are timeless, have style and are fresh and personal.” I don’t know if I could have described their beautiful work more accurately!
{I love how eclectic this room is! The variety of textures and styles is so chic.}
{The silk drapes, mirrored console, and soft blue palette infuse this room with a touch of glamour.}
{How amazing is the settee in this kitchen? I adore the grey zebra-striped pillows and the marble bistro table, which is the perfect size for having one’s coffee and reading the newspaper (or blogs).} {The entire kitchen is fantastic!}
{I love the elegant simplicity of this bedroom. The architectural elements and neutral fabrics give it a more masculine vibe that reads as timeless.} {An Elegant Vignette}
{This is such a fun room for a little girl! The colors are certainly evocative of summer.}
{I adore the chinoiserie wallcovering in this whimsical child’s room! The color palette is so soothing.}
{How fabulous is the desk vignette? I love all of the Bungalow 5 accessories.}

{Not only is the seating area on this patio lovely, the railing is too!}

it is gorgeous! that kitchen with seating area, wow.
Gorgeous rooms! My absolute fave is the second living room photo, the eclectic mix is perfection.
Love the patio chairs...white ghost chairs are so chic! I'm getting one soon for the desk in our guest room!
Yes, yes, YES! The first images are right up my alley! I love how layered the rooms are. I wish I could have white patio furniture like that! My poochies would destroy it! -jami
So pure...Loving all the LIGHT in these spaces
I truly love the look used in the baby's room...Is that a wall decal ...is it painted...or is it a wall covering?..
I believe that look would also look good in a small guest powder room.
Beautiful photos!!
I am LOVING that desk vignette. It would look lovely in a nice B&B.
i adore that Hermes orange blanket... lovely images by the way!

It'd surely be a dream life if I had that breakfast nook and that patio, and the biggest decision in my day would be "where should I breakfast?".
the kitchen is amazing!! i don't think i've ever seen those chairs for outdoor use on the deck in the last picture...love it!
I love their work! That outdoor space is pretty awesome!
Where do I even begin? So many gorgeous things... I love the blue glass lamp (have been looking for a glass lamp for longer than I care to think of). But the winner for me is that kitchen. A couch. In the kitchen! So brilliant for resting in between checking things, going through recipes, making shopping lists - or having somebody to keep the cook company!
What do you think that settee is upholstered in? vinyl? leather? I guess something very stain-resistant to be in a kitchen. Great post, as always!
Beautiful pictures!! I absolutely love a settee in the kitchen, I put one in mine, and always encourage my clients to put soft seating in theirs as well!!
The kitchen you've featured is one of the best spaces I've seen in a while! All of these designs are equally fantastic, though ... Keep 'em coming!
