Sneak Peek: New Seasons of The Hills & The City

The Hills and The City are set to return on April 27th and they are both jam-packed with drama. The Hills is in its sixth and final season, and truth be told, it’s about time. After Lauren left, things really went downhill, especially the show’s ratings. I wouldn’t be complaining if I were anyone of of the cast members though. I recently read that Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge each earn $90,000 per episode. Insane!

I am looking forward to this season of The City. It’s filled with so much drama and I love the appearances by Kelly Cutrone and Joe Zee. Despite being a style icon, Olivia Palermo could stand to learn a thing or two about honesty and integrity, at least on the show. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for Erin and Whitney! It seems everyone usually has an Olivia in their life, but most aren’t anywhere near as stylish or beautiful. She makes for good television. That’s for sure!

Do you plan to watch either show this season?

yes, I have to admit I'm a former Hills addict but I haven't watched since Lauren left. I'm really just more interested in LC and Whitney's job than the drama on the show, lol.

Being that I am a NYer I plan on watching the City. Plus I think Whitney Port is super stylish!

Ahh I can't wait for the City to come out!! Whitney is such a class act. And so was Lauren... so sad she's not on the Hills anymore. Kristen really ruined it for me. Although I'm sure I'll still watch just to see Heidi. I can't help myself, that's the most insane thing I've ever seen in my life!!

I LOVE The City! Whitney Port is so sweet and I love that it's set in good ole' NYC. And I like that it follows their careers rather than just boy drama.

And how is The Hills still on the air?? Except for when Heidi asks her mom if she thinks she looks good, it really doesn't look very promising.

I'm a Junkie for The Hills & The City! It's not so much the DRAMA, Fashion, PR, Clothing & HOLLYWOOD NYC. Love Kelly Cutrone this Monday was her finale show! I Love Lauren Conrad and the ENTIRE cast Whitney, Olivia!

Can't wait!

Did you see Heidi trying to cry? She couldn't even move her face! I can hardly stand to look at her, her faces looks like it is pulled so tight that it hurts!

I actually bumped into Whitney walking to the subway station at Bryant Park during NYFW and she was soo beautiful in person. I love Olivia's style, but she definitely reminds me of a lot of the snobby, entitled girls that I have come across during high school and college.

Such drama! It should be good. And if not, there will always be the clothes :)

Haha.... Dont you feel like we are getting a little too old for these shows? I havent been able to watch either of these shows without surfing the web for the last 2-3 years....

That said, I did write a whole post about how when lauren was on the show, it was a healthy mix of work and boys... once she left, the city became all about work and the hills became all about boys and they both SUCK! They dont even bother to fill in plot lines like, why isnt olivia working at DVF anymore? etc...

Since Lauren Conrad is not more on the show I don´t like it and Heidi looks awful, what did she do on her face? The City is amazing, Olivia is a bitch, jajaja, I can wait to see it.

I think that the some of the girls from the hills have let the fame get to their heads a little, but I still love to watch the drama unfold. As for the city I am a little addicted. Cant wait for the new seasons!!

yes and yes. I love both of these shows. And as much as I would love to hate Olivia she is just too pretty and has much too fabulous of a wardrobe for me not to like her! Call me shallow.
