A West Hollywood Bungalow

west-hollywood-bungalow2

Over the holidays, a good friend of mine told me about a fabulous vacation house she and her family had rented in Lake Tahoe. Intrigued, I visited the site she used to secure her rental, VRBO.com, and found homes that range from luxurious and over the top to chic and cozy like this charming bungalow in West Hollywood. Do you ever opt to stay in a vacation rental as opposed to a traditional hotel?

{The outdoor pool area is just as charming as the inside of the house. I love the striped curtains and awning as well as the cool, modern wicker lounge chairs and spun fiberglass bar.}

I love this charming little gem! I want to hang out by that pool all day. We've had great luck with VRBO domestically and internationally. My husband and I prefer to stay in a residence if we go anywhere for more than a long weekend. Much more relaxing for us.

Do you know who the artist is who painted the girl in the sunglasses and the piece in the living room as well?

I've always had great experiences with VRBO, and this is a particularly gorgeous listing--thanks for sharing it! Could you please provide a link to the listing for those of us who may be interested in renting it?

It's very rare that a vacation rental would take the time to create such gorgeous interiors, which makes it all the more appealing. That bathroom!

Love the bathroom floor. We house swap occasionally and have rented apartments in Paris...fun to live like a local.

I'm obsessed with the striped curtains by the pool! Makes your vacation feel like old hollywood! So beautiful!

Open, clean, relaxed, bright and in my backyard to boot! I'd love to attend the seminar! I'm a Veteran and business owner - this would be the opportunity I desperately need to get my business moving!

What a great house! We have used VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) before, with great success. One of the most notable was a beautiful, abundantly stocked condo in Copper Mountain, Colorado, with wonderful interiors - we didn't want to go home!
