Do Tell: Which movies do you never tire of?

Pinned Image

I may have had the shortest Christmas break of my life this past weekend, but that did not stop me from squeezing in a few hours to watch some of my favorite holiday movies—Home Alone and Elf, anyone? This got me thinking about the movies that I’ve watched at least a dozen times, but never tire of. You know, the ones that are played on cable every other week, yet still manage to pull you in. Which movies can you watch over and over? A few of my favorites are Auntie Mame, The Devil Wears Prada, Clueless, Mermaids, and Hitch. No matter how many times I’ve watched them, I am always happy to watch them again!

I feel that way about Love Actually, Emma and My Fair Lady.

It wasn't until I finished my list that I realized they're all British! I guess it's the accent! :)

I don´t like watching movies twice, but if they are shown on TV, then I get hooked.
The one I never get tired of is Gone with the wind.

Love Actually and The Holiday are my holiday favorites because they are actually about the time around Christmas and New Year!

Great question! I can always watch Bridget Jones' Diary, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle... and Sound of Music! Of course, if Rudy is on, I have to watch it -- I am a Notre Dame girl :)

I never tire of Nancy Meyers movies (It's Complicated, Something's Gotta Give, Father of the Bride), and certain Will Ferrell movies like Anchorman, and Ricky Bobby Taladega Nights -love quoting those!

The Sound of Music! Haha! Does that make me a nerd? I am dying to go to Austria to the gazebo where they film the "sixteen going on seventeen" scene.

La Boum 2. I love it. Watched it first at age 14 and countless times since. It is one of those films that grow with you, and different aspects become more or less important each time. It is also the only DVD I ever bought for myself.
