A Health Update

Hello, dear readers! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. I am writing from my hospital bed as I had to have an emergency appendectomy last night. That's right, two organs removed in six months. First, my gallbladder and now my appendix. Maybe this is God's way of making me slow down for a bit. I won't be posting for the next few days as I focus on my recovery and getting some rest. Thank you for understanding and for your continued support! Merry Christmas!

Hi Paloma,

While I just followed your Twitter account, I decided to check your blog and the first post I found was about your health update.

I wish you a speedy recovery. You seem to be a person with a verve for life and I'm sure you'll be back to your normal self pretty quick.

Good luck!

Sandy.

Paloma,

I started reading your blog a few months ago. I took the Homegood's Stylescope quiz and found I am "Vegas Baby" with a touch of "Socialite" and was pointed to your blog. I have become totally addicted! I sincerely hope you get well soon and have a happy (relaxing and convalescing) New Year!

Take your time. I've had both too and it's not all that bad from the surgery standpoint, the recovery takes a long while. you'll be very tired and have weird pains. it's all normal. go slow and we'll still be here when you're ready!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Hi Paloma, I didn't get a chance to thank you before Christmas & then was so surprised by your last post. Hope you're feeling better & that you take a much deserved rest. We look forward to hearing from you but don't push yourself!

So, to thank you, I love the Nathan Turner book. Thank you for such a wonderful give-away. I was so surprised to win it. I put it under the Christmas tree & have really enjoyed looking through it.

Looking forward to a fun, successful and beautiful New Year for all of us!
