Fabulous Room Friday 07.05.13
I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July yesterday and that you were able to enjoy a little R & R! This week's fabulous room is a lovely living room by Windsor Smith. I was originally drawn in by the lovely wall color-- any ideas what it might be? The windows and mix of furnishings are also beautiful. I especially love the juxtaposition between the modern chairs and sofas with the more traditional art and furnishings in the space. What is your favorite element of the room?

The accessories draw me in The horn on the coffee table, the huge shell on the side chest. the pewter? pouf of an ottoman!Thank you for the beauty you bring into our lives, Paloma!

This is a great room!! I love the contrast between the chairs and metallic ottoman. Perfect lighting!

Just a guess but could the paint be Elephant's Breath by Farrow and Ball? It's very pretty.
Yes, I agree with Lisa - Elephant's Breath by Farrow & Ball. We have it in our dining room. It's a lovely color!
What a clever way to make two conversational settings accessible to each other, but yet separate for a hush-hush tete-a-tete. Good eye, Paloma!
Hi Paloma,
What I love about this room is the architecture. I liked her previous incarnation better, but do love the way this one is styled. That color could also be Benjamin Moore Elephant Gray. That's always a tough call from a photo.
I absolutely LOVE those chairs..!
Thanks for posting amazing inspiration. Thank you!

I have similar wall colors combined with white ceilings in my new flat. Please see my blog post about colors. It is in czech, but the two color codes are international :-)
