I recently came across this image of a space by the fabulous Miles Redd. Now, I LOVE Miles’ work and he really can do no wrong in my book, but I am pretty certain that the cork wallcovering he used in this room is going to elicit a pretty visceral response from all of you. It’s one of those things that you either love or you hate, wouldn’t you say? Personally, I really like the idea of using it in a less formal space like a kids’ playroom or home office. What are your thoughts? Love it or leave it?

LOVE IT! (can't say that loud enough)
I have used cork in some of my installs, absolutely perfect. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. - Jalon
I love miles redd too…. and completely agree that he can do no wrong. I think a cork wall would look great in a masculine office or den!
I actually like this! Would not say love or hate though.
It's really hard to argue with a space as attractive as this. I don't think it's a matter of love or hate with me because I can see it working here. It feels very masculine (which my aesthetic tends to lean towards) and with the framed art, the room looks very collected- which I'm in to. Perhaps I'm just more traditional than I realized because I think I'd be too chicken to commit papering a wall in cork in my own home. Maybe a single wall in a kid's playroom as you say. But it's definitely working in this home office.
Love it! For sure!
I'm digging these walls! Adds a nice texture and I like how it breaks things up a bit!
leaving it...
i was contemplating the cork floor section at a specialty store the other day and i just could not get on board. i suppose if i was doing it for the 'green' effects, id have to choose bamboo.
that being said, that wall does look AWESOME....
I absolutely love this space. Cork for an office works in my book, especially with the added sophistication of the gallery wall.
LOVE it. Textural and funtional!
I'm kind of loving it! I don't know that I would want it to be a full wall {no no no to a full room} in my own home... but it works!
Both. I don't love it or hate it. Like you, I could totally see this in a kid's room. I do love the texture it gives the room!

Love, love, LOVE!
I would like that in a kids room....I'm undecided about the office. I like the texture and it would be kind of cool to be able to pin things to it....but cork doesn't scream LUXE to me...hmmm
This is certainly an artistic one! I never thought of having cork as the wall of my room. It screams luxury and style, although it is masculine in certain aspects. Nevertheless, I love the concept of the cork wall. I am thinking of placing one in my office room at my Colorado Denver real estate house.
Love, love, love!
Like it alot...
love it! it's better and more interesting than anything that we can think of or afford today and is a reminder of your home's history..... KEEP IT!
I also love Miles. I think I would like something like this in my sons play room. He is always bringing drawings and projects home from school, this would def give you plenty of space to hang your kiddos artwork.
love
I love them, and they certainly have a place in every home!
