Fabulous Room Friday 05.18.12

Pinned Image

This week’s “Fabulous Room” is an oldie but a goodie. This glamorous bathroom is part of Katie Lee's former Greenwich Village townhouse. Designed by Nate Berkus, this was one of Katie’s homes while she was married to the “Piano Man” himself, Billy Joel. The gorgeous townhouse was featured in Domino several years ago and remains one of my favorite homes. I especially love the classic elegance that resounds throughout the home while maintaining such an inviting quality.

This bathroom is just spectacular—the marble tile floor and washstand comingle with beautiful lighting and a serene color palette. This room is as timeless as they get. Notice the shower door, too—I love the way it is framed. What is your favorite element in this space?

{1. Monogrammed Towels from Leontine Linens | 2. Ralph Lauren Adrianna Small Chandelier from Circa Lighting | 3. Ralph Lauren Anette Single Sconce from Circa Lighting | 4. Gramercy Double Metal Washstand from Restoration Hardware | 5. Margaux Freestanding Cast Iron Bathtub from Waterworks | 6. Tocca Montauk Candle from Layla Grayce

Could you see yourself getting all glammed up or taking a relaxing bath with a glass of champagne in this bath? If you’d like to take a walk down memory lane, check out the rest of Katie Lee’s gorgeous townhouse here. Happy Friday!

We just renovated our bathroom and this room was actually the inspiration for the design! I love how calm and classic it is.

Very, very, very classic. I absolutely love it. Ideal really. I am saving this picture for when I build my own house.
