Say it With Style: Charming Valentines

Sucker for you

{Sucker for You card from Hello Lucky}

To me, the Valentine’s Day is about taking the time to remember how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband and to let him know how I feel. With our anniversary trip this summer,  I don’t expect anything fancy on Valentine’s Day. Spending time together over a nice meal and a heartfelt card are more than enough for me.

This year, I’ve noticed there are so many beautiful and original card designs that there is no need to shop for one at the grocery store! Whether you’re in a serious relationship, are dating someone new, or just want to tell a friend you care, these cards would be a stylish way to deliver your message. The following are some of my favorites.

valentine cards

Lost Without You

I love this “Lost Without You” card from Hello Lucky since Fabian and I love to travel.

You're Dreamy

Hello Lucky’s “You’re Dreamy” card has a very groovy, surrealist vibe, wouldn’t you say? It’s a great alternative to a traditional Valentine and I must say I love the reference to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club!

Valentine Monkey

Who could possibly resist this cute sock monkey? It is also like Hello Lucky whose beautiful cards are all letterpress printed.

I can’t get enough of this print!

Village is offering it’s classic “For Like Ever” design on notecards and postcards which would be perfect this Valentine’s Day.

I love Hello Lucky!'s cards -- the retro vibe is just great. Love the zig zag card as well...hadn't run across it before but I can never have too many zig zags!

Love the letterpress ones! You need to check out Katie & Co on Washington Ave...you'd love it! They have the best cards and stationery.

Ugh, I just sent out my valentine's day cards yesterday. I actually had to APOLOGIZE in one of my cards for how corny it was!! (Imagine kitty cats on the front and the words "I miss you and I'm not kitten around") <-- I don't think it gets any worse than that!!

I really enjoyed these. Wish you had posted them yesterday ;)
