In regard to the soothing grey paint (Palais Royal by Ralph Lauren) he paired with horizontal bands, Filicia says "I got the idea for the bands from Beaux-Arts buildings, which often have this kind of detail in stone at the ground level. It tricks your eye into thinking the room is wider than it really is." The room also features Kravet's Everyday Lux curtains and Conrad's tweed shades.
I love the peacock blue cashmere throw by Harnaz! I am so obsessed with this color right now. The fabulous lamps are by Robert Abbey and the chairs are Bulgari.

I agree, this is a fabulous room!
Have a great weekend Paloma!
That bedroom (and more specifically that fabulous bed) caught my eye as well. In fact I was pretty dumbstruck. Any ideas what that bed costs?
I will be painting my new home soon and have been thinking about gray for either the master bedroom or home office, so this post is very inspirational.
Have a great weekend!

Beautiful room and love the contrast with the bed and the sunburst mirror.
Loved this room when I saw it too! Beautiful wall color that's for sure!
Fabulous rooms- Thom is a talented designer! The peacock blue is a favourite colour of mine too!

Wow, fab room, the grey & white looks stunning!
Funny how gray is the new so hot color!! Love that though!! such a great background ! For any design! Loved your blog!
Very much heart the gray walls with white stripes. I have a thing for grey walls - my favorite is Benjamin Moore's sidewalk grey. Not too blue, not too blah.
Aaah yes. In another life I think I had a dark gray house decorated in splashes of bright color.
