I think we may have a La Dolce Vita first this week. I’ve never featured rooms by the same designer back to back one week after the other in the Fabulous Room Friday feature—until today. Nate Berkus is just that good and I happen to love everything he does that much. Last week, I featured a glamorous living room from his book The Things That Matter. This week, I have honed in on the fabulous kitchen in his own New York apartment which is featured in the November issue of Architectural Digest as well as Nate’s new book. The kitchen is so handsome and universally appealing. I love the classic elements he selected as well as the neutral color palette which allows each piece to really bask in the spotlight. The black lacquered cabinets are gorgeous. I love them against the white subway tile with black grout and butcher block countertops. And don’t forget about the gorgeous herringbone floors. It all feels very New York and very Nate.
The island is pretty stunning, too as is the beautiful window that peeks into the living room of his Greenwich Village townhouse. Oh, to live in such a gorgeous home! Thank you for continually inspiring us, Nate.
P.S. Don’t forget—Nate’s new collection for Target launches on Sunday! Happy Weekend!

dream kitchen, literally my dream kitchen :)
Absolutely gorgeous! It might just be the lighting, but the first picture has a very 70s feel to it.
Me encanta la combinación de blanco y negro!
