Hey everyone! Between the tons of blogs I like, news websites, Facebook, digital magazines, online shopping destinations, and Pinterest—not to mention the time I spend researching and writing for La Dolce Vita and time spent on the web managing social media efforts and doing market research for my day job, it turns out that I spend a A LOT of time online. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with so many enticing sites around! Unfortunately, I don’t have the time that I once did to peruse my favorite sites at my leisure, so I have to pick and choose wisely. What are your must-visit destinations on the web? What are you currently loving online—is there an online store, blog, or Pinterest account that you adore? On the contrary, what would you prefer to see less of? Is there a certain topic or format that you have had your fill of?
Why Timeless Homes are Rare

I love reading decorating blogs, searching for antiques and home decor, ordering books and DVDs from Amazon and reading the online version of my local paper. Occasionally, I check out YouTube for and interesting video or to listen to music.
What would I like to see less of? Rude, mean, vitriolic comments from blog readers. Disagreeing (politely) with what the blog owner has written is acceptable. Spewing vitriol is not!
Its so easy to get overwhelmed! To me a google reader is an ESSENTIAL way to keep up with my favorite blogs (including this one!). And I've made it my homepage.
I agree with Squeak about avoiding rude comments. I've stopped reading Apartment Therapy solely because of how obnoxious their reader base is.
I make sure to never miss Phaidon, Surface magazine and Lonny because I feel they truly advertise unique projects that I can't find anywhere else.
Absolutely obsessed with The Skimm:
"theSkimm is the daily newsletter that simplifies the headlines for the educated professional who knows enough to know she needs more. We do the reading for you and explain it with fresh editorial content, breaking down what you need to know to start the conversation."

I usually go online to read my favorite blog, mainly through bloglovin. Research for my own blog. I often go to Pinterest for inspiration.

I think the internet is so amazing for finding cool and interesting items. I am a big ebay and etsy fan, as well as TopShop and Uncommon Goods. Twitter is a great site for me and I have met so many great folks through blogs as well as my own about NYC and Cannoli. Great post to keep you thinking for sure !!
I find so much inspiration on many different blogs and lots of new products. Love Pinterest and online mags - I must say my all time favourite was High Gloss and I do miss it...
Thanks for taking the time to write all these great posts every single day!

I agree Paloma!!
Every time you turn around, there is another social media site popping up... keeping up with blogs, pinterest, facebook, twitter, intstagram, etc... is a crazy web we weave!!
I do have to say that I am quite addicted to Pinterest ~ who isn't??
xoxo
I have a few blogs that I check every day for inspiration, yours included! My other top picks are Atlantic-Pacific, A Beautiful Mess, and Stylish White Female.
I love Pinterest but sometimes I can get overwhelmed at all of the content - but you really can't beat it when you're feeling stuck.

I try to sneak some time onto the Joss & Main site for fantastic deals from all kinds of designers and decor companies. I find new ones all the time through their offerings, many leading to blogs and sites I love!

there are so many goodies online these days I have to give myself time limits or I get sucked into a rabbit hole! The Glitter Guide is always a fun read, and of course Pinterest is fabulous for all things inspired. I'm just loving finding new blogs that I can actually relate to as well as be inspired by. I love La Dolce Vita (obviously) because it really helped me determine my design style and what speaks to me and I also dig Kendi Everyday, Good Life for Less and Penny Pincher Fashion.
Oh and of course my own From Carpools to Cocktails and Sweet Emotions Makeup Artistry.
i can't take another painted pumpkin. ever. :)
