Beautiful Boudoirs by Massucco Warner Miller

I love this bedroom! The headboard is incredible, I love the wallpapered accent wall, lamps, linens, and vintage furniture.

I have to admit that I was not familiar with Massucco Warner Miller until I came across some pictures of a recent San Francisco Decorator's Showcase. I was so smitten by the bedroom they had designed for the showcase house that I felt the urge to check out the rest of their work. Based in San Francisco, the design firm is comprised of Julie Massucco, Melissa Warner, and Carrie Miller all of whom have gorgeous taste. While browsing the firm's portfolio, I noticed that the bedrooms stood out to me more than any of the other rooms. Now, MWM knows how to design a completely gorgeous house, but they really have a knack for bedrooms. They mix textures, patterns, and colors so brilliantly. The bedrooms they design are not only beautiful, but hip, young, and fresh. They have inspired me to do a mini-makeover in my own bedroom, but I will post more on that soon!

The first four bedrooms in this post are all part of a residence in Washington, D.C. designed by the MWM girls. I love the mixture of patterns in this room.

This room has a more youthful look and I would be inclined to think it belongs to a little girl. I really like the linens and the fun orange lamps.

A more subdued, natural look in the final bedroom of the Washington, D.C. residence

This Los Angeles Master Suite is slightly more traditional.

I love the beautiful lamp and nightstand.

And finally, my favorite MWM bedroom from a past San Francisco Decorator's Showcase. I'm telling you, that showcase brings out the most incredible talent! I love the shape of the headboard as well as the fabric.
The color palette in this room is fresh and fun, yet very sophisticated.

How fabulous is that bed? I think they did a fabulous job with the bed skirt. The soft brown color of the print and the box pleat style make it tasteful. Not to mention, it looks fantastic with the orange!

Notice the fun lamp and Moroccan detail of the nightstand as well as the edging on the duvet.

It's interesting that all of the headboards are upholstered. I think that upholstered is the way to go.

I agree, the headboard is lovely. It's only recently dawned upon me how much of an artistic impact and well-designed headboard can have on a room. Wish I had one myself!

i love the use of the bold pattern on the bedskirt...what a great way to add some print to a neutral boudoir. i'm definitely stealing this idea!
