What is your favorite city in the world? For me, it’s definitely a toss-up between London and Barcelona, two cities that are so strikingly different, but have so much to offer. Paris definitely round out my top 3. Stateside, I love San Francisco. It’s beautiful, romantic and home to great restaurants. Which city is your favorite?

My fav city is Sofia, Bulgaria...
While I enjoy time spent in the larger cities around the globe, my most favorite are definitely on the smaller scale. My favorite city in the US has to be Charleston, SC. Abroad I'd have to say Edinburgh with Milan coming in a close second.
Stateside- New Orleans. Great food, music and art. Abroad- I love Barcelona and Lisbon.
I'm excited to say NYC since it's where I live! But Charleston, SC, is a close second. Internationally: PARIS!
My home town NYC is among the tops for diversity and food, but I also love the great vibe in LA and Madrid. I have a love hate relationship with London when we lived there. I'm hoping to add more cities to this list!

ah my two cities! in for Barcelona!
Stateside definitely, definitely DEFINITELY Charleston, SC. It's a total gem. Incredible architecture, charm, history. Amazing restaurants, shopping and close to the beach.
I definitely looooove Barcelona. And Chicago (when it's warm).

I haven't been to a lot of places but so far, I am in love with San Francisco, too! It's such a beautiful city, with lots of wonderful restaurants and lovely views.
Paris. Definitely Paris.
For me, definitely Paris. It is just so full of beauty and grace.
NYC and Nice, France.xx

Wow...great question. I honestly love NYC, but I'm so in love with every city in Europe. lol Don't think I can choose just one.
Los Angeles, CA. I lived there for 3years and loved it!
I would have to give you a top 10 list so hard to choose. But for now, I'll just say In Europe: Barcelona comes to mind first. In the US: San Diego!
Clearly I need to do some traveling! For now it is New York City. Ask again in a year ;)
U.S.: San Francisco (and now I am living here; it is amazing! I hear the fog horns blow in the distance one day, and have bright sunshine the next!)
International: Buenos Aires; the Paris of S. America... with more flavor, less pretentiousness, better food, and so. much. fun. ah, I love it there! love it!
New York City and Washington DC. Internationally... Vancouver and Paris.
It is so hard to pick a favorite! I think I have to say Brussels!
Hmmmm...tough call but I'll say its between Paris and Rome!
Stateside: New Orleans, great food, outstanding architecture, fantastic art, divine music...and the most laid back place in America.
Europe: Florence, Italy (anywhere in Italy really)
Asia: Shanghai
Latin America: Buenos Aires
Caribbean: Havana, Cuba
Diverse enough? LOL
Washington DC. So much history and patriotism mixed with prep. I am obsessed!
US= Charleston
Abroad= Quebec City (b/c it's like being in Europe and only a car ride away!!)
carmel-by-the-sea, california!
You already mentioned 2 of mine: Paris and San Francisco - also Boca Raton - where we vacation every Summer!!
I too love Charleston, SC and that's the reason I had my wedding there, but my fav is Jupiter, FL!!!
My top two cities have to be Paris & St. Petersburg (Russia), with Rome, Buenos Aires and Kyoto rounding out the top five.
Toronto...all I can say.
As far as where I've been, I'd say the Laguna Beach area. I went on vacation there in December a couple years back and it was so peaceful and serene!! I've dreamed and dreamed about going back and spending more time relaxing and visiting all the great restaurants and shops!
What a beautiful photo! I'm partial to Lucerne, Switzerland because it's so clean and beautiful. Plus, I had quite a night to remember there right after high school graduation singing Grease karaoke with my best friends and some very friendly locals! In the US, NYC because, well, what's not to love? Chapel Hill, NC could be my all-time favorite, though, because it's where I went to college and met my husband. Wonderful, wonderful memories!!
Love this topic! In the US I'm all about The Outer Banks of North Carolina...So many great memories. Globally, I love Tokyo!
Stateside, I"d have to say Chicago. Abroad, it would have to be Paris and Prague.
Carmel-by-the Sea takes my vote!
Paris by far! Florence would be my second favorite.
For me it has to be Florence - romantic, historical with something different to experience each time. But I agree with you, in the States, San Francisco has a charm that can't be beat!
This is a tough one but it was fun to see everyone's answers so far. Munich, Germany and Portland, OR are at the top of the list because they are home to me now, but San Francisco and London are also special because they used to be home and are both truly amazing. As for somewhere I have visited: Cape Town, S. Africa is quite stunning! So many beautiful places!!!
Stockholm! Gamla Stan swept me away!
Wellington, New Zealand--I can't wait to go back! NYC is also a favorite.
Definitely my home town Salzburg! Gorgeous architecture and most picturesque surrounding. Since I can only visit now I appreciate its beauty even more now. Florence would be second and Miland third.
Cheers,
Claudia
Barcelona and Paris...Buenos Aires
In the US - cliched but true (for me), would be NYC.
Europe - Zurich
Asia - Tokyo
Latin America - Rio
Paris! Stateside, Austin, Tx and Los Angeles, Ca
