Glamorous Gatherings: Spring Cocktails

Cherry Blossoms and a Well-Stocked Bar—Let’s make some springtime cocktails!(via)
Hi LDV readers! This is Manvi from Mochatini with a fresh installment of “Glamorous Gatherings”. We previously picked the perfect decor for a springtime gathering, now for the really important part - the cocktails. I've rounded up four tasty libations to start your rooftop garden party off right, and a bonus non-alcoholic drink that is just as refreshing and fun. Color Crush: Indigo

{Thomas Britt’s Dramatic Living Room via New York Social Diary}

I am a very visual person by nature. I'm pretty sure you are too, if you read design blogs. Lately, I've been drawn to certain colors more than ever before-- one of which is indigo. People often attribute the color blue to depression, but I couldn't disagree more when it comes to certain hues, especially indigo. I can't get enough of this beautifully saturated shade of blue.

Fabulous Room Friday 04.19.13

pic

Greetings from High Point Market! While at market, it’s hard not to get completely inspired by details—fabrics, textures, patterns, accents, finishes. I usually get so excited about new pieces, both individually as well as in settings. When I came across this lovely living room by Julie Richard of Shelter Interior Design and the synonymous blog, I was thrilled to see a new project of hers since I’ve loved her style for some time now and I immediately thought of market because so many of the details I previously mentioned are present in this space. Julie has incorporated a lively color palette, a number of graphic patterns, and thoughtful details throughout the space. I love all of the seating options and the textiles she opted for in this room. Which element is your favorite?
