This week’s fabulous room is a glamorous and you guessed it—eclectic room by Mara Miller and Jesse Carrier of Carrier and Company. If you read yesterday’s post, then you’ll know exactly what I am referring to regarding the buzzword, “eclectic” (you can check out the post here). As I flipped through the September issue of House Beautiful, this room really popped out at me. I was drawn to the abstract art, bold color palette, and great mix of furniture and lighting.
Jesse and Mara selected beautiful, classic pieces pairing traditional, tailored silhouettes with modern and avant-garde pieces like the chandelier by David Weeks. The bold works of art really bring the room to life. The colorful accessories and choice of fabrics tie everything together in the living room of this sophisticated home in Naples, Florida. Using such a lively palette can be tricky, but Jesse and Mara exercised the perfect amount of restraint resulting in a chic, vibrant space that beckons the viewer to look a little closer.

Love Fabulous Room Friday! Always beautiful choices. The color story in this is fantastic.
Gorgeous! Love how the art plays center stage!
Hi Paloma,
Now this is an eclectic room that works--- big time! And those doors and mouldings make me wanna cry... total beauty! best, Laurel
Gorgeous room! I am totally obsessed with the yellow + purple color scheme! Makes the whole room look bright and fresh!! Plus--it is so nice to see people decorating with color, not just neutral tones!

Does anyone know what color/brand white they've used here? I have the magazine and it is not listed there either. It is a gorgeous, luminous white. Thanks!
