Last Saturday, I made my way to Los Angeles for the Design Bloggers Conference, where I spoke on a panel with Cassandra of Coco + Kelley, Grace of design*sponge and Tracy Porter on Monday morning. Before the conference, I was able to squeeze in a little fun. On Saturday night, I had dinner with Crystal from Rue and then we went to the HGTV party for Emily Henderson’s new show, Secrets of a Stylist.
Sunday brought one of my favorite experiences in recent memory. Ronda Carman of All the Best and Hutton Wilkinson hosted the 120th Anniversary Celebration for SFERRA linens at Tony Duquette’s incredible estate, Dawnridge. It was a wonderful experience in a magical setting. Dawnridge is unlike any place I’ve ever visited and is a testament to the talent of Tony Duquette and the style of Hutton Wilkinson, who is so charming and tells the best stories. Ronda gathered a group of bloggers and designers and we shared a delightful afternoon. There is something so special about being amongst so many creative and talented people sharing laughs and toasting one another’s accomplishments.
{Ronda Carman, Lori Dennis, Tracy Porter, Me, Anne Sage, Cassandra La Valle}
{The Breathtaking Setting}{Fun New Friends: Stylist and Editor, Stacy Kunstel and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Editorial Director, Clint Smith}
{The Fabulous and Talented Tobi Fairley and Barclay Butera}
{Mingling…}
{Anne, Paloma, Tracy}
{This seems to be the running theme at Dawnridge.}
{There are beautiful malachite touches throughout the home. Our first course was even served on malachite-pattern plates.}
{Lovely Ladies: Ronda Carman and Jan Showers}
{Our Delightful Host, Hutton Wilkinson}
{Clinton Smith, Kyle Knight and Scot Meacham Wood}
{Our lunch was served in the garden. Later, we moved down to the lake for dessert.}
