{Hi! Did somebody say “treats”?}
After shooting some pictures of my bookshelves to send over to Emily A. Clark, I decided to snap a few pictures of my sweet Tate. He is getting better at posing for pictures, but between his quick movements and the fact that I am still getting used to my Canon Rebel, most of the shots I took were blurry. However, a few turned out so cute that I just had to share them with you!
The shutter speed was much slower without the flash, so I turned it on for this picture in order for it to be clear. Poor little guy! He actually does enjoy having his picture taken and if he sees me taking pictures of something else, he’ll bark at me until I snap a shot of him. Maybe he was meant to be a puppy model. :)

I know I am biased, but isn’t he adorable? Tate is the best pup I could have hoped for.

What kind of dog is Tate? We have a mini goldendoodle and he looks similar. I want to get another one and yours is so cute!

Thanks everyone! Tate is a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel / Poodle Mix). He is sweet, smart as a whip, and was a dream to potty train. We really don't have any complaints. :)
Ok. That does it. Cockapoo me. I want one. I love him, he has the sweetest little FACE!!!!

Aw, he's so gorgeous! I remember back when you were just thinking about getting a dog. I think some of those posts brought out hundreds of comments (breeder vs. rescue, mixed vs. pure breeds, etc.). Hard to believe how much time has past!

A good tip for shooting in low light without a flash, change your ISO to the highest it will go (on my Rebel it goes up to 1600). Then change the f-stop to 1.8 (depending on your lens this number could be higher). It will give you a shallower depth of field, but you could shoot clean photos in candlelight with a shutter speed of like 1/20.
