A close-up of the cool chandeliers at Jack Stack. They are made of old lanterns. The restaurant itself is housed in an old freight warehouse right behind Union Station.
Massive Portions
I love all of the old warehouses in this area. They are so interesting! There was an architectural salvage place down there that I will have to check out the next time we are in Kansas City. It looked really cool, but they were closed for the holiday.
I hope you have enjoyed reading about our trip to Kansas City. If you have never been, it is definitely worth a weekend trip!

Fun trip! Thanks for sharing!
Ok, this is just too funny not to comment on...
That bridge was designed by the architecture firm that I work at, and our office building is not only right behind Architectural Salvage, but you can actually see it in that last picture! We are right on the other side of the Stuart Hall building. I'm sitting in that very building right now!
Hee hee!
