Our Trip to San Francisco

Fabian and I recently celebrated his 28th birthday in San Francisco. We had a fantastic time! Some of the highlights of our trip include visiting the San Francisco Decorator Showcase house (more on that this weekend), eating lots of yummy food, and finally meeting Jeni of MrsPlainJane fame. She and I have known each other for about five years, but had yet to meet in person until this trip. She and her husband are a beautiful couple in every sense of the word. We hope to spend more time with them again soon. :)

It's always so nice to break away from one's daily routine, especially in a place as beautiful as San Francisco.

Francis Ford Coppola's Gorgeous Copper Building on the edge of Chinatown and North Beach - Isn't the patina amazing?

New York Magazine: "Sarah Jessica Parker Would Like a Few Words With Carrie Bradshaw"

Sarah Jessica Parker appears on the current cover of New York Magazine. I've always loved her for being so genuine, intelligent, and articulate. This article further solidifies my admiration for her. It's a great read, but consider yourself forewarned. There is a spoiler for the Sex and the City movie about half way through.

The cast of Sex and the City visits Oprah

The cast of Sex and the City stopped by the Oprah show to promote the upcoming movie last Thursday. In case you missed it, like I did, you can catch the first part here. There are six parts, all of which you can find on YouTube.
UPDATE: Apparently, the videos have been removed from YouTube. Sorry!

Style Icon: Gwyneth Paltrow

It seems like most people either love Gwyneth Paltrow or they love to hate her. I happen to be a fan. Sure, some may think she gives off airs of snobbery. I interpret it as someone who is confident and sure of herself; someone who holds herself to a certain standard. Personality aside, I love many of the style choices she has made.

Wearing a nude gown of silk and voile by one of her favorite designers, Stella McCartney at the 2005 Academy Awards

Chiffon Zac Posen gown at the 2007 Academy Awards

Wearing Valentino, another favorite designer at this year's Fashion Rocks in London

Vintage Yves Saint Laurent at the premiere of Running with Scissors in 2006 I absolutely love this dress! I would wear it forever.

I love this casual look. I think her hair was perfect this length.
